n.o.w. campaign

Sponsored by the National Organization for Women, my campaign concept was inspired by a thought-provoking 'what if'—imagining a world where women were given a seat at the table from the very beginnings of our country in America. To explore this idea, I chose to re-create Revolutionary War-era paintings and portraits of the founding fathers, but with a twist: gender-swapping them to challenge and reflect on the historical exclusion of women. This artistic reimagining prompts us to consider where we could be now if women were included throughout history. While rewriting history is impossible, these recreated paintings serve as a powerful visual dialogue, urging us to acknowledge past exclusions and advocate for a future where women are fully included in all conversations and causes shaping our world.
